The Best Disney Conspiracies

WARNING: This article contains some spoilers!

So, I was backstage during the intermission of one of my shows, and a couple of people and I were talking about some Peter Pan related theories, as that’s the show we were doing. I had the idea to write an article on some Disney related theories, as I enjoy the fun connections that they put in their movies. Without further ado, let’s begin.

#3, Frozen

This is a short theory, but hear me out. There has been controversy that after Disney passed, he was not buried or cremated..but cyrogenically frozen and placed underneath the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. There’s a theory that the reason why Disney named the movie Frozen was to cover up the results on Google when you typed “Disney frozen.” So, instead of Walt Disney’s frozen body, you’ll get fun up beat songs and lovable characters. Believable, right?

#2, Aladdin

Now, there’s some controversy on Aladdin. Some people believe that it takes place in an post-apocalyptic world, with advanced technology and barren lands. Think about it; the Genie makes several pop culture references, like impersonating Jack Nicholson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also complains that he’s been trapped in the lamp for 1,00 years when Aladdin releases him. It’s very possible that Aladdin takes place 1,000 years from now. And, a flying carpet? That’s only something that could exist in the very far away future. Not convinced? There’s another option..

Aladdin never happened at all. This one is just as believable as the last. You all remember the opening scene of Aladdin, this short merchant trying to sell you, the viewer, an old lamp. The story of Aladdin could very possibly be a tall tale the merchant made up to convince you to buy his old lamp. Let’s quickly look at Beauty and the Beast. Remember the opening song when Belle goes into the bookshop and she explains her favorite book? The line is, “Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, and a prince in disguise.” Far off places; Agrabah. Daring sword fights; the song “One Jump Ahead” has a sword fight between the sultan’s guards, Aladdin, and even Abu, Aladidn’s monkey. Magic spells; Genie. A prince in disguise; do I even need to explain this one?

#1, Peter Pan, The Princess and the Frog, and Pinocchio

You might be asking yourself, “how do all these movies connect?” Let’s begin with PATF. You all remember the lively, fun firefly named Ray and his deceased lover Evangeline. Here’s a clip in case you’re not familiar with this movie:

Evangeline, according to Ray, is the small star in the sky. There’s Ray just below her. Now, for those of you who have seen this movie, you’ll know that Ray is sadly killed. When he dies, we see that he too is a star, right next to Evangeline.

Just above Prince Naveen and Tiana, we see two stars; Ray and Evangeline. Now, let’s jump to Peter Pan. You all know that iconic line, “second star to the right, and straight on ’till morning” right? Take a look at the stars that Peter is talking about.

Look at the resemblance! It’s uncanny! Ray and Evangeline are the stars from Peter Pan! But it does not end there sis. Here’s where Pinocchio comes in. For those of you who have never seen Pinocchio, there’s a star called the wishing star. Let’s take a look at it:

See that little star in the sky? That’s the wishing star..or should I say, Evangeline. You might be wondering “but Katie, if that’s Evangeline, then where’s Ray?” Well, Pinocchio took place long before PATF and Peter Pan, meaning Ray hasn’t died yet. He’s just out there, livin’ his best life. Now, for those of you who have seen Pinocchio, you’ll remember that the wishing star turns into a blue fairy. Meaning..

Hello, Evangeline, the second star to the right.
