His biggest rival is Cristiano Ronaldo who is  a left wing who recently moved to Juventus but used to play for Real Madrid. This transfer that recently has happened made La Liga not as interesting because Barcelona and Real Madrid played one special game every year, this game is called El Clasico. Every El Clasico Messi and Ronaldo would compete to see who can score more goals than they would laugh it out after. One interesting fact about this rivalry is that Ronaldo’s son personally looks up to Messi.

Messi Background

Messi was born in Rosario Argentina June 24 1997. Messi joined Barcelona at the age of 17 but he was too short to play professional soccer so Barcelona offered to pay for his steroids to make Messi play on there team. Messi was born to his dad, a factory steel worker and his mother, a cleaner so his life wasn’t that easy. But somehow he was able to push through and not give up and eventually it payed off. Messi studied in a primary school in Bangladesh. He went to Las Heras for his elementary school. Messi did not go to college because he had such a huge future and so much potential.

Messi was born to two wonderful parents Jorge Messi and Celia Cuccittini he used to play on the streets with his older brothers Rodrigo and Matias. One very special relationship he had was with his former teammate Neymar Jr. He played about four years with Messi but left to a different team named Paris Saint German for two hundred twenty two million euros. The very interesting thing about this relationship is that they don’t only communicate well in the games but they communicate off the field. They are really good friends and they spend time with each other of the field a lot. These aren’t the only friends that played for Barcelona, Messi developed a very close relationship with Luis Suarez these two have been playing together for a while and share their time together at each others houses. To this day they still played together.
