Here are some phobias that were pretty weird for me but I thought it was interesting to learn about why people have a phobia on these, so if you want to learn more then I put links for them just incase you want to learn:

  1. Podophobia – The fear of feet
  2. Telephonophobia – The fear of talking on the phone.
  3. Cibophobia – The fear of food.
  4. Ranidaphobia – The fear of frogs.

  7. Phobophobia – The fear of fear

So there are bunch of other phobias that people have, and you might even have it. But I just  don’t really understand why someone has a fear of food, but i’m not judging anyone. If you do want to learn more all of these phobias are from this website: https://www.fearof.net/  And there are way more. In my opinion I think that some phobias come from ancestors or friends story’s that happen and that is how people get there phobias.

According to:https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/249347.php

”This causes the body to experience the same reaction. In a phobia, the areas of thebrain that deal with fear and stress keep retrieving the frightening event inappropriately. Researchers have found that phobias are often linked to the amygdala, which lies behind the pituitary gland in the brain.”

According to:http://www.healthcommunities.com/phobias/diagnosis.shtml

”There is no diagnostic laboratory test for phobiasDiagnosis is based on the patient’s account of their experiences. The American Psychiatric Association provides criteria for the diagnoses of agoraphobia, social phobia, and specific phobia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.”

According to:http://www.phobics-society.org.uk/causes-of-phobias/

It is rather unusual for a phobia to develop ‘out of nowhere’ after the age of 30 – 35.Phobias can be caused by stressful situations, certain experiences or frightening events. … Scientists believe that the complex phobias are often caused by a combination of genetics, brain chemistry and certain life experiences.

So those are a couple of phobias I found. Some are weird, some are noramlle to have, and some kind of crazy. But I think that everyone has phobias and that nobody should judge the people that have some weird phobias.
