There are a variety of instruments and and many types of instrumant bands. Most people when starting to learn how to instruments choose less expensive brands. Still most instument brands do cost a lot of money but not as expensive as these brands.

I will start off by talking about a violin. The Messiah Stradivarius is the most expensive violin. The total price of the violin is estimated to be 16 million dollars. The Messiah Stradivarius was made by a man named Antonio Stradivari. He had a workshop were he made string instruments such as the cello, violin, guitars, and harps. When he died in 1737 his sons Francesco and Omobono kept his workshop running. In between 1774 and 1776 there was a great violin collector named Count Cozio di Salabue who loved buying violins from Francesco and Ombono. He also would buy violins from Antonio Stradivari. Francesco made one specifically for him, which was later named the Messiah. Later in 1827 a man named Luigi Tariso got a hold of the violin. He would always boast about his violin and never would show anyone. The Violin kept getting past down from one person to another, until 1890 when the Hill Family bought it £2000. They rebought the violin and sold it, then got it again. The estimated price of the violin now is £10,000,000.

Another instrument is Marilyn Monroe’s baby grand piano. Marilyn Monroe was a very famous actress, singer, and model. She was very well known in the 1950’s and still is well known. When she was younger her mother Gladys Pearl Baker had a beautiful white baby grand piano. After Gladys was institutionalized she sold her piano. Marilyn wanted the piano back because it mean’t so much to her. So after looking for it for years, she finally got the piano back. Also in her book “My Story” the first chapter talks about how she found the white piano. After Marilyn died, Mariah Carey bought her baby grand piano at an auction that featured Marilyn Monroe memorabilia in 1999. Mariah bought the piano for $662,500.

The last instrument is Jimi Hendrix’s guitar the 1968 Fender Stratocaster. Jimi Hendrix’s was an american rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He was famous for his amazing guitar skill that delighted his audiences in the 1960’s. He had many popular guitars such as the Supro Ozark, Danelectro Bronze Standard, the 1968 Fender Stratocaster, and so much more. His guitar the 1968 Fender Stratocaster is a very famous one. After Jimi Hendrix died, his friend/drummer Mitch Mitchell held onto it till 1990, when he auctioned it off. The man who bought it was Gabriele Ansaloni. He bought it for £198,000 and out it in a museum in Seattle, Washington. The guitar now is worth 2,000,000 dollars.

These instruments are worth a lot of money and should be cared for in respect. To some of the owners, the instruments are very important and special, while some it holds nostalgia.
