2017 is finally over and it has been a great year for rap. So here are the top 10 best rap songs of 2017:

10. Tee Grizzly, ¨First Day Out¨

Tee Grizzly got released from jail last after a attempted robbery of a jewelry store. When he first got out he started to go to work on ¨First Day Out¨ in the song he explains to how the world has changed while he was behind bars and about trying to find his home, his family, and friends. He is trying to rebuild his life and is explaining all these things in his lyrics.

9. French Montana, “Unforgettable”

Unforgettable reached the top 100 and also got the number one spot in Spotify’s Rap Caviar playlist. It also features Swae Lee.

8. Playboi Carti, “Magnolia”
Magnolia was a great song and is his best song so far. It’s a game changer and brought something new to the rap game. From him Milly-Rocking his way into the hip-hop/rap industry to it being produced by Pi’erre Bourne. The song was a hit during its release.

7. Big Sean, “Bounce Back”

Big Sean´s album this year was a hit but “Bounce Back” was a even bigger hit. From its catchy lyrics to its great beat, the song was overall great.

6. 21 Savage, “Bank Account”

Being produced by Metro Boomin, Savage came up with a amazing song that not only sticks out for it’s verses, but for it’s simplicity with the feature from Offset at the end

Mask Off is a ode to Future’s drug collaboration and the lyrics are catchy as well. It’s the type of song that you can’t get out of your head. Future is one of rap’s most underappreciated lyricists and what he accomplishes in that line is what separates him from other rappers.

Which is amazing.

“Bad and Boujee” warmed up the party scene. With Metro Boomin, Migos sprinkled a lot of lines like “Raindrop, droptop,” to make the track a fun. The Atlanta trio even invited Lil Uzi Vert on the Boomin-produced track, making the record a star-studded affair.
