This is the continuation of the Serena Season Finale.

“Back then, it wasn’t as protected and secured as it is now. So with the Aigue-Marine de Vie in his possession, the man tried to gain the absolute power by performing an ancient ritual. Thankfully, he was stopped before he finished the ritual.”

“Who stopped him?” I asked curiously. My grandmother hesitated. “We will get to that later.” She replied. “Anyways, after the man was stopped, we was furious. So he hid the Aigue-Marine de Vie in a forbidden area of the kingdom.

It was the worst. The Aigue-Marine de Vie had been removed. The entire kingdom started to collapse and fall apart. The lush greens and rain forests and gardens all turned dry and wrecked. This was the L’âge du désespoir. The girl who had stopped the man was the only one who could enter the forbidden area and retrieve the Aigue-Marine de Vie. She was…different than the rest. Everyone turned to her to bring it back and save their land.

So the young girl went on a journey and finally got it. The Aigue-Marine de Vie was put back into the Grotte des Cristaux and the kingdom was saved. However, some pieces of the Aigue-Marine de Vie had been broken off, which weakened its power.

The girl was rewarded and became the new queen of the kingdom. Out of pure fear, the new queen demanded that all gateways to their kingdom should be sealed. She was afraid that something like this might happen again.

All the people who knew about this hidden kingdom had their memories erased for good. There was never word of it again and it remains a myth to this day.”

There was a moment of silence.  I tried to register everything my grandmother just said but I couldn’t. It was too unreal. “Grandmother.” I started. “What does this have to do with me?”

My grandmother took a deep breath. “Let me finish first.” She said. “It took many, many years for this kingdom to recover from this dark time and flourish once again. The Aigue-Marine de Vie had lost power since some of its pieces had been broken off. Therefore, it took a long time for it to fully regain its power again. The queen saved the broken pieces of the Aigue-Marine de Vie in a very safe place. She had a feeling she would need it in the future.

Many years later, the queen was married and had a child. It was a beautiful, precious child. She was the best thing that ever happened to the queen. To celebrate the newborn princess, she gave her a priceless, key necklace made entirely of gold and encrusted with a piece of the Aigue-Marine de Vie. This necklace had an unbelievable amount of power stored inside of it. It was to protect the princess if anything was to happen to her.

But there was another reason why the queen gave her daughter this necklace. The queen found out that one person had not gotten his memory erased and knew about the kingdom. This was horrifying to everyone in the kingdom. They could not risk even one person knowing about their land. It could lead to many other people remembering it, and would put everything in jeopardy.

The queen came to the conclusion that the kingdom was just not safe for her precious, newborn child. So the queen decided to take the princess to our world, to live like a regular person and be completely safe from the chaos in the kingdom. So the queen left her husband, the king, to rule the country and opened the portal to the other world using the key necklace. This necklace was the only thing that could open the portals.

The queen disguised herself as a normal woman and raised her daughter in our world until the kingdom was safe enough for them to return. The young princess grew up here like a normal girl. Many years passed. The queen finally told her daughter the truth when she was seventeen years old. It took the girl a lot of time to learn and understand her past, and who she really was.

Finally, the queen and princess went back to their kingdom, where it was now safe. More years passed, and the princess was now twenty seven. Her mother, the queen, was now too old to rule the whole kingdom. So the crown was passed onto the princess. She was married, and had two children of her own. Twins. Two new princesses were born.”
