The Raiders and Chiefs had a weird start to the season. The Raiders started off the season 2-0 and then loss 4 in a row. The Chiefs went 5-0 and then lost to the Steelers at 5-1. These teams both were expected the opposite so it is kind of weird. Raiders were supposed to go 13-3 maybe even 16-0 and Chiefs were supposed to go around 11-5. The Raiders were coming off a cold streak but surprised everyone when they beat the Chiefs.

The Game

Quarterbacks-

Derek Carr- 29-52 417 yds, 3 TD. He just came back from a injury before this game but looked really well for doing so. He shocked everyone by coming out and beating the best team in the NFL (before the game).

Alex Smith- 25-36 342 yds, 3 TD. He played well but it wasn’t enough to keep their fire season alive. They are now 2nd in the AFC.

Scores Per Half-

1st Quarter- Raiders 14 Chiefs 10

2nd Quarter- Raiders 14 Chiefs 20

3rd Quarter- Raiders 21 Chiefs 30

4th Quarter- Raiders 31 Chiefs 30

Best Performances-

Amari Cooper- 11 rec 210 yds, 2 TD. He had a great game and got more yards then he did the whole season before.

Tyreek Hill- 6 rec 125 yds, 1 2 TD. Tyreek Hill has been well all season and also that game.

Jared Cook- 6 rec 107 yds. He got no touchdowns but had a lot yards which helped the team.

The Division

1. Kansas City Chiefs 5-2- The Chiefs are still 1st but lost 2 games in a row and are on a cold streak losing to the team that is last in the division. They still have hopes for the playoffs and a chance at the Super Bowl if thy can beat the overpowered AFC.

2. Denver Broncos 3-3- The Broncos are also coming off a 2 game losing streak which makes this division a mess. The Broncos don’t look good right now and are in trouble. If they keep losing their season might already be over.

3. Los Angeles Chargers 3-4- They were 0-4 but went on a 3 game win streak which makes them that much closer. Beating the Broncos put them back above the Raiders at 3rd and could be 2nd soon. They look like a 8-8 team just missing the playoffs.

4. Oakland Raiders 3-4- The Raiders started off 2-0 but then lost 4 straight games in a row. Then they beat the Chiefs which put them 3rd in the division but then the Chargers won. This team still has hope for the playoffs as they looked really well against one of the best teams in the NFL.
