Mr. Moore: 

1) Q:What school did you attend for middle school?

A: ” South Middle School. ”

2) Q:  What did you do in your free time when you were a teen?

A: ” I read comic books, and did a lot of ROTC military things.”

3) Q: What did you want to be when you grew up in middle school

A: ” A military general, but I ended up being a math teacher after the military.”

4) Q: What was your dream college in middle school? What college did you end up going to?

A: ” University of Michigan, and UCLA. I ended up going to UCLA.”

5) Q: What electives did you take when you were in middle school?

A: ” Wood shop, Metal shop, and Home EC.”

6) Q: What would you say is most different in middle school now and when you were in middle school?

A: ” There was less freedom, and the teachers were shown more respect.”

Mr. Symons:

1) Q: What school did you attend for middle school?

A: Malibu Park Jr. High School

Q: ” Did you do well in science, because you are a science teacher now?” 

A: ” I didn’t really do so well in middle school in general, because my school was right by a beach and I would spend more time at the beach.”

2) Q: What did you do in your free time when you were a teen?

A: ” I built cars, I went surfing, rode motorcycles, and I skate boarded. I wanted to be older so I could be older and break dance at the night clubs.

3) Q: What did you want to be when you grew up in back in middle school?

A: ” I wanted to be a Sheriff.”

Q: ” Like in the those western movies?”

A: ” Ha, no I am not that old.”

4) Q: What was your dream college in middle school?

A: ” I wasn’t really thinking about college, I was too busy building cars, riding motorcycles, and surfing.”

Q: ” What college did you end up going to?”

A: ” I went to Fresno State, Pierce college, but I got my teaching credential at CSUN.”

5) Q: What electives did you take when you were in middle school?

A: ” Wood shop, Plastics, and ceramics.”

Q: ” What is plastics?”

A: ” You melt plastic and shape or grind it into things.”

Q: ” And what did you make in ceramics?”

A: ” I made pots, which took a long time.”

6) Q:What would you say is most different in middle school now and when you were in middle school?

A: ” The electives back then were more hands on, and now kids aren’t even allowed to use bunson burners. I also got to dissect stuff like frogs and fish. And in college I even dissected a cadaver.”

1) Q: What school did you attend for middle school?

A: Northridge Middle School

2) Q: What did you do in your free time when you were a teen?

A: ” I went to the movies, Skateland, and the mall.”

3) Q:What did you want to be when you grew up in middle school?

A: ” I wanted to be a psychologist.”

4) Q: What was your dream college in middle school? What college did you end up going to?

A: ” I wanted to go to NYU, but I ended up going to CSUN.”

5) Q: What electives did you take when you were in middle school?

A: ” I took wood-shop, and ceramics.”

6) Q: What would you say is most different in middle school now and when you were in middle school?

A: ” When I was in middle school after school kids didn’t just hang out unless they  had made plans, and there was a lot less interaction and communication. Now there is more technology and everyone is online.”
